Just How Fucked Up Is This?
Back in high school I was part of a band called Red Eagle's Tune. The music was VERY different from what I'm doing now. In Unspoken Hero, I sing and sream the heavy sound of what reall matches my personality, and that's why RET didn't work out. RET had more of an early Counting Crows/Smashing Pumpkins kind of sound, but the thing that kept me secure w/ that band was the lyrics. Not the typical things a 16 year old would say in a song.
Both Unspoken Hero and Red Eagle's Tune have myspce pages ( http://www.myspace.com/unspokenhero1 and http://www.myspace.com/redeaglestune ). I was just checking both the band's pages, and because no one has really heard Unspoken Hero, there was nothing, and I was expecting the same thing for RET because lets face it, we really had no fans. But RET had a little message, we were invited to play Emergenza. 2 years after we break up and we get an opprotunity like this? So I think we're gonna try it. I want to see what complete strangers think out us and see where this takes us. Unspoken Hero is still my main project, but this is worth a shot.
